Pastor Grant Ethridge

About Pastor Grant

Dr. Grant Ethridge has been a pastor for 28 years. He and his wife Tammy are both natives of Georgia. They have been married 26 years, and they enjoy snow skiing, camping, water sports, and scuba diving.

God has blessed them with: Taylor, Lindsay Beth, Zachary, and Daniel. In 2009 they welcomed two additions to their family when their son, Taylor, married Meagan Lewis and their daughter, Lindsay Beth, married Dalton Stoltz. They have one son, Christian, who went to be with the Lord June 4, 1992. Grant and Tammy have been “grandparents” to four foster children and just welcomed their first biological grandson, Noah, into the family in 2011. The family’s life verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Dr. Ethridge served as President of the Arkansas Baptist Convention and has served on many other state and national boards and agencies. He holds a Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) from Luther Rice Seminary and a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) from Immanuel Baptist Theological Seminary. His numerous speaking engagements have included universities, seminaries, conventions, conferences, revivals, television, and international mission fields.

Since Dr. Ethridge went to Liberty five years ago, the church has baptized over 2250 people. In order to accommodate the crowds on Easter weekend 2012, the church had seven services with over 10,400 in attendance. Liberty has been recognized in the Top 100 Fastest Growing Churches, number one in Cooperative Program Giving, and the leading church in giving to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and in baptisms in the SBCV.

He is President of the Southern Baptist Convention Pastors' Conference which will take place in June of this year in New Orleans.
